Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program

The Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at New Freedom, Inc. offers a unique, psychoeducational, skills based program to individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and interpersonal and/or work related conflicts.

New Freedom's MHIOP services can help the individual who is having difficulty with:

  • Managing mood swings
  • Feeling hopeless and/or suicidal (without intent)
  • Regulating intense feelings such as anger, sadness, anxiety, shame, and/or grief
  • Making and maintaining relationships
  • Impulsive behavior and staying out of crisis
  • Solving problems
  • Negative thoughts and distorted beliefs
  • Understanding their illness
  • Fear and avoidance
  • Relaxing and soothing themselves

and has a diagnosis of one or more of the following:

  • Depression
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Anxiety and Panic Disorders
  • Personality Disorders
  • Interpersonal and/or work related conflicts
