Alcohol & Chemical Dependency Treatment
While other treatment facilities may treat drug addiction with other drugs. That is not our philosophy (with some exceptions, detox, chronic mental illness). Our approach to the treatment of Alcohol/Chemical dependency begins by identifying it as a progressive problem and treating it aggressively by providing each individual with the following:
- Initial evaluation
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Family and couples therapy
- Multifamily sessions
- Alcohol and drug screening
- Goal setting and step work
- Discharge planning
- Back to work assistance
- One year of free aftercare
After completing the IOP program you will have an:
- Understanding and a working knowledge of addiction and the disease concept.
- Relapse prevention techniques and strategies.
- Improved communication skills.
- Improved relationship skills.
Alternate Choices/New Freedom’s CDIOP services can help the individual with:
- Alcohol and\or drug abuse/addiction
- Maintaining sobriety from alcohol and substance abuse/addiction
- Improve family relationships
- Job performance
- Legal problems
- Depression/Anxiety
- Behavioral problems
- Emotional problems
- Anger management
- Deterioration of physical health due to substance use
Length:
The Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to be 8 weeks in length. When completed we offer a step down program (OP) and/or a year of free after care.
Our less intensive program, Outpatient Program, is designed to to be at least 12 weeks in length (meeting 2 days a week/2 hrs each group). We provide each individual their unique treatment plan and care coordination. There may be clients required to attend our Program for a longer length of time due to other personal circumstances.
Women’s CDIOP & CDOP Group
- This group provides women the opportunity to share more openly with other peers in their group. At times there are subject matters that are not addressed by female members in a co-ed group setting due to presence of a male. We are able to address these matters to improve their chemical dependency treatment. The same services offered in the Co-ed CDIOP & CDOP are applied to our Women’s Program.
Cost:
We believe cost should never be the reason for not receiving quality help. The cost of the program varies per individual. If you have private insurance we will bill them directly. If you do not have insurance, we will set up an affordable payment plan that will work for you.
Costs will not be your reason for not getting treatment.
